Positive Behavior Practices: From Core Values to Core Practice
A guide to the application of positive interventions for challenging behavior

We are very excited to announce a NEW staff training workshop entitled "Positive Behavior Practices: From Core Values to Core Practice." This is a hands-on workshop that covers the basic concepts of behaviorism and Positive Behavior Support practices based on IABA's Multi-Element Model. The workshop also provides orientation to a generic Positive Behaviour Supports applicable to a wide variety of situations.

The Positive Behavior Support training provides an evidence-based, person-centered, non-aversive model and methods to prevent and respond to behaviors of concern. The training is designed to facilitate service providers as they creating and deliver safe, effective, and enjoyable supports for individuals with behaviours of concern.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

BACB LogoBoard Certified Behavior Analysts and Associates can earn Type II CEU's for attending our training programs! ACE Provider number OP-02-0027.

CA Board of Behavioral Sciences: CE Provider #PCE 2234.

Psychologists: IABA is approved by the California Psychological Association to provide continuing professional education for psychologists (INS045). IABA maintains responsibility for this program and its content. All participants applying for CE must stay for the entire program (no partial credit given) and sign in and out each day/module. Participants arriving late or leaving early will not receive CE. 1 hour of CE equals 60 minutes of instruction, no credit for breaks or lunch.
