PTO hours will accumulate at the rate of 1.25 days per month for a total of fifteen days per year during the employee's first five years of employment.

All full-time regular status employees are entitled to six paid holidays per year. (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day)

Health and Life Insurance

The Institute currently offers two types of medical health insurance plans for full-time regular status employees. All employees participating in one of the Institute's medical healthcare plans are required to make a premium co-payment through payroll deduction.

Aetna Medical Health Plans

The Institute will pay for the employee's coverage, as well as the employee's dependent coverage (spouses are not included).

Dental Insurance:

The Institute provides dental insurance to all employees at no charge. You may choose from two types of coverage, a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) network of dentists, or an Indemnity Plan that allows you to use your own dentist. The employee pays for dependent coverage for both plans through payroll deduction.

Cafeteria Plan

The Institute currently offers one option in an IRS approved Cafeteria Plan (IRS Code Section 106 Insurance Premiums). This plan allows employees to pay for individual and/or dependent family medical coverage with pre-tax dollars at no additional cost to the employee. Employees also have access to supplemental insurance benefits, such as life insurance, disability insurance, hospital indemnity or cancer insurance which are offered by AFLAC and payable through payroll deductions with pre-tax salary dollars.

Credit Unions:

The Institute offers its employees lifetime membership in two different credit unions: WESCOM Credit Union and the E- Central Credit Union (E-CCU). Each offers a wide range of financial services: Savings and Checking Accounts, Payroll Deductions, VISA cards, Personal/Mortgage and Automobile Loans. Both credit unions require that you open a savings account to join.
